A good scan starts with a readable photo. Lay the document flat, keep all four corners visible and avoid a shadow across the text. InstaFuture Scan to PDF corrects document photos and assembles an A4 PDF without requiring a separate scanner application.
Before you start
- Use camera capture or existing photos.
- Review corner positions rather than trusting every automatic selection.
- Check the exported document, not only its thumbnail.
1. Capture or choose photos
Open Scan to PDF. Allow camera access when requested, or use photo upload. When the browser denies camera permission, uploading an existing photo is an alternative.
2. Correct each page
Move the crop corners to the document edges. Review the enhancement and keep faint text readable. Retake a blurry source instead of expecting sharpening to recover missing detail.
3. Review the page tray
Arrange pages in the intended reading order and remove unwanted captures. Check orientation before exporting.
4. Export and open the PDF
Download the A4 PDF and inspect it in a viewer. Scanning produces page images; use PDF OCR separately when you need extracted text.
Worked examples
A receipt and an application form
Capture both separately and inspect the small text on the receipt. Order the form first and the receipt second, then verify the exported PDF contains both pages.
Check before you finish
- All document edges are inside the photo.
- Text is readable and not obscured by glare.
- Pages are in the correct order.
- The downloaded file opens and contains the expected pages.
Questions and answers
What can I do when the camera does not open?
Check browser camera permission, use a supported secure browser or choose photo upload instead.
Does scanning automatically extract text?
No. The scanner creates a PDF from document images. Use the separate PDF OCR tool to extract text and proofread its output.
