Write fictional dialogue in an original chat-style layout. Edit two fictional names, message text and times, move bubbles between the left and right, reorder the conversation, and choose a theme and bubble color. Preview your storyboard and export PNG or SVG with permanent fictional-demo labels. This tool is not affiliated with a messaging platform.

How to use Fictional Chat Mockup

  1. Enter fictional names and messages, with optional changes to their times and sides.
  2. Add, move or delete messages; choose a theme, bubble color and image width.
  3. Create PNG or SVG, download the labeled image, and inspect it before sharing.

Where processing happens

Dialogue and images are prepared in this browser tab. This tool does not upload, import or save chats. Closing the tool clears the dialogue; downloaded files remain on your device.

Important limitations

Up to 20 messages, 32 characters per fictional name, and 280 per message. Export widths are 720 or 1080 pixels with a maximum height of 4,096 pixels. Every image includes permanent fictional-demo labels. Fonts and emoji appearance depend on your device and SVG viewer. PNG requires browser canvas support.

Questions and answers

Can I remove the fictional label?

No. The preview and all PNG and SVG exports include prominent fictional-demo labels.

Is this an official messaging-platform screenshot?

No. It is an original, clearly fictional mockup without platform logos, verification badges or authentication claims.

Can I import an existing chat?

No. This tool is for typing fictional dialogue for stories and demos. It does not import real messages.

Use generated output as a starting point and review it before use. Names are ideas rather than availability checks, and sample data should remain separate from real customer records.
